Hi, my name is Hayden, and I am a Sport & Exercise Psychologist in Training (SEPiT) currently working in academy football and private practice, with nearly 5 years of experience of working in sport altogether. I have previously worked in Cricket, Fencing, and Rugby, and have particular expertise in the following areas:
Performance Support
Well-being support
How does sport psychology work?
The easiest way to describe my work is like this; imagine that you want to improve your fitness within your sport, so you’d go and work with an S&C coach in order to do this, right? Well, to improve mental performance and well-being, you’d come and see me, a sport psychologist. Think of me like a mind coach, we’re here to essentially coach your mind.
Within the sessions I offer, we will meet online over Zoom and talk about anything that may be worrying you, anything you want to work on, or even things that have gone well for you recently. I’ll ask questions and really try and understand your perspective and story, and you can tell me as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. Anything that is discussed is kept confidential and will stay with myself only, as I am bound by BASES’ code of ethics.
Feel free to get in touch to organise a free initial consultation session! I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
Only athletes who have booked can leave a review.
