I have a master degree from university of Jyväskylä in the field of Psychology of Physical Activity, Health and Well-being and a bachelor degree in psychology from UNYP university in Prague. My master thesis was on the topic of Pressure Training in Elite Tennis Academies. I hold an accreditation as a sport psychologist by the Czech Association of Sport Psychology. I have also been an active tennis player since the age of 4. At the age of 18 I have gotten my tennis coaching licence and started working as a tennis coach while studying. I have combined my experience as a tennis coach with my knowledge of mental training and during the summer of 2022 I was working professional tennis players from Barcelona Tennis Academy doing practical mental trainings on court. Currently I am working remotely with individual clients on developing and improving their mental skills to help them gain an edge in performance as well as a tennis coach at HVS Tennis in Helsinki.
My specialization is working with junior and professional tennis athletes on developing and structuring their on and off court life as well as managing pressure through pressure training drills. My first sessions are usually more of a discussion to assess the needs of the athlete and understand their own unique situation. After that we make a plan together to start working on developing the mental game.
